You can put things off, turn your back on them and hide things, but it will still be there. Whatever you had to deal with will still be there, and as you encounter more problems or work to do, it will just build up until eventually you have no idea what to do. Procrastination is my achilles heel.
I have let a lot of my work get on top of me, and I think my main problem is the way I go about organising things, so I have been trying out some different notetaking software available online as freeware.

One of my favourites is Evernote, by Evernote corporation. As stated by themselves ‘Evernote allows you to easily capture information in any environment using whatever device or platform you find most convenient, and makes this information accessible and searchable at any time, from anywhere’. It allows you to use a variety of different mediums in order to capture images, written notes, clipped web pages and other information to be sent back to any number of personal notebooks. By use of a Account and password, you can then access this information from anywhere with an Internet connection.
I have been using my phone to take pictures of things I need to remember; be it a phone number from an advert, to a film or game that I would like to look up and then uploading it directly to my account. This is a quick and efficient process and I find it the perfect way to keep a running track of what I need to do. Combined with a sleek GUI (Graphical User Interface) and a lightning fast search engine integrated within the program in order to search through your posts. Evernote is slowly taking my life back into order. You can find Evernote here.
Back from the grave once again, one of my favourite TV sitcoms, the IT crowd, is returning to channel 4 once again at 10pm on the 21st November. According to word spread around the filming, this is set to be the funniest season so far, so is definately worth a minute of my time!
